Clink, clink, clink…can you hear the pieces falling into place?
Thank you to everyone who supported our annual fish fries! It’s always nice to see you and serve you. As you know, proceeds from those fish dinners provide funds for the bands we schedule over the four days of the festival.
The Queen’s Luncheon will be featuring the music and antics of The Average White Broads trio in keeping with the theme of this year’s festival Rock Around the Crock. Invitations will be going out in the next three weeks, if you are a representative of an Ohio Festival and would like to attend, leave us a comment.
Registration is now being taken for the Festival Queen, Jr. Miss, Princess and L’il Miss Pageant. Rehearsals will begin in June. The pageant is open to girls between the ages of 5-18 that live or go to school in Crooksville or Roseville. Daughters of people currently employed by an operating pottery in the area are also eligible. If you need a registration form, leave us a comment or e-mail us at potteryfestival@yahoo.com.
There are lots of ways for anyone to get involved with this community event. If volunteering to help isn’t your thing…enter one of our contests and events. You can compete in everything from pie baking to showing off your talent. Back this year after a long hiatus is the 5K Run. We’ve also added a comedy category to the Talent show. Complete details on all these contests are contained in the tab above labeled “contests”.
