Participation in any of the Pottery Festival’s many contests is fun and, in some cases, profitable. Registration forms for each event will be available on the festival grounds, but pre-registering insures you’ll have a stress free day and gives the committee an opportunity to gather bigger and better prizes. You can pre-register by sending us an e-mail to: potteryfestival@yahoo.com including the following information: Contest title, your name, address, phone and e-mail address. I can’t believe that with all the coverage the news gives to the pottery festival while it is happening to try to get the community involved that I did not see a list of all the winners in the Times Recorder. I am certain that they would be happy to follow up on the event. It doesn’t matter if it’s the talent contest , the baby beautiful, pie baking or pizza eating it takes everyone involved to make it a success! I could have missed the article but I haven’t talked to anyone else who said they saw the results.

Thank you for your suggestion. We do forward all those results to the Perry County Tribune (our local paper) and a nice article was printed there, in 2009 we will definately try and get something in the Times Recorder also.
