2008 Pottery Festival Queen, April Wheeler.
The festival committee is proud to introduce our newest ambassador! April has hit the ground running and accompanied by her court, has already been across the state promoting next year’s festival.
Check back here for pictures of their travels as they arrive.

It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since Jade was crowned the 2007 Pottery Queen. She and her court have been BUSY traveling around the state talking about the festival, doing fund raisers and helping in the community whenever they’re asked. Jade and her court have done a fantastic job this year and proven to be much more than just a bunch of pretty faces. If our local potterys are this committees toil, the Queen and her court are our joy. Great job, thank you so much Jade, April, Haleigh, Meranda, Jordyn, Divana and Lakyn.
Queen Jade will be hosting her luncheon for the visiting festival Queen’s at the Pottery Festival Parade on Saturday, July 12th. Entertainment will be provided by The Average White Broads, for more information on attending, e-mail us at potteryfestal@yahoo.com or just leave a comment here.
One of the best parts of being Pottery Queen is all the friends you meet along the way. Jade and Stormy from The Chauncey-Dover Spring Festival.

Hello, This is April Wheeler the 2008 Pottery Festival Queen. Since July My court and I have traveled to many different festivals. We have befriended many new people in the course of our travels and have promoted our festival through the course of it all. It has been a great honor to be the Queen and I hope to have many fun and educational travels through out the rest of my reign. I will keep in touch here and hopefully see you all at the 2008 Crooksville – Roseville Pottery Festival.
Much love

Hi April,
I had surgery in September and then in December and have not been able to get out to speak with you about the Pottery Festival and your adventures. Will you email me some pictures for publishing and a story about what you’ve been doing to promote this event.
Thank you,
