Who says you can’t please all the people all the time?  If you haven’t reserved July 10-13th,2008 for the Pottery Festival yet, hurry!  Go take care of that!  You won’t want to miss any of these moments:

The best in contemporay pottery from Crooksville, Roseville and our pottery making friends from all over the state.  In addition to adding something beautiful to your home or yard, you’ll be able to watch how it’s made from demonstrations of Raku firing to wheel turning.  Displays from our industrys that use ceramic in ways you might not know about will also be on hand.

Pottery not your thing…yet…, or you need something to go with that crock or pitcher?  Handmade wood accessories, glass, rugs, guord art, candles…and more will also be represented on the grounds.

There’s lots more to do than shop at the Pottery Festival.  You can join in the fun!  Registration is being accepted now throughout the festival for the parade, pie baking contest, talent show and baby contest.  Information about all these events is included on our “contests” page.

Too tired to shop or compete?  We’ve got you covered!  A full line-up of top notch entertainment from bands and dancers to fireworks on Friday night.  Check out the “entertainment” page or the schedule to see the full line up.   Don’t forget to check out the Queen’s Pageant which will include a special performance by the Kenny Wayne-Dave Joseph Project.

Bring the kids, there are rides and games to keep them entertained and plenty of food to stave off starvation.  We can’t wait to see you!
